Three Types of Journeys

Big Story Living Journeys pack a lot of goodness into ten carefree nights in Europe. Whether you are a seasoned traveler or you have a European bucket list a mile long and don't know how to make your travel dreams come true, our journeys are for you! Each is intentionally curated to create space and opportunity for you to write an exciting new chapter in your big, beautiful story.Travel with like-minded women from all over the US. All Big Story Living journeys to Europe hit at least three countries, and one of them is always an unexpected treasure located in central/eastern Europe. From traveling the world for “almost free,” learning the ins and outs of creating European itineraries, using local transportation, saving big travel bucks, and taking each day as it comes...you get it ALL when you sign up to travel with us.Depending on the season, we offer three different types of journeys. One is a true budget journey. We will travel with frequent flyer miles that you will learn how to gather, and move in ways that keep a close eye on your spending. Though we will still stay in hotels and airbnb's (never hostels), we will make frugal choices as much as possible so your first trip never has to be your last. Freedom is the big word for these trips. From morning to evening in every location, your time is completely your own to explore as you choose. All you commit to is to being a respectful roommate and traveling together from one location to the next. But don't worry. Women have a way of connecting on our journeys in such a way that you'll never feel alone.The second type of journey offered is a bit more curated and just a bit more expensive. Everything is much the same as the first with a few new highlights. Your guide can still teach you how, but do not need to travel with frequent flyer miles. You can purchase your own airfare and just meet us there. Additional experiences are offered such as food tours or day trips together. The goal is that you'll always get a single bed. And, we don't steer away from the more expensive countries and cities. These journeys can cost around $500 more + airfare than the budget options.Finally, "solo-ish" journeys are offered when our guide is going to be located somewhere in Europe and offers anyone to join. This is for the woman who longs to give solo travel a try, but would feel better knowing that a guide is close by for part of her journey. We will help assist you in planning your entire solo journey and plan to meet you along the way in a European city where we will have some fun together before you travel on to your next destination.Whether you choose a budget journey, curated journey or solo-ish journey, we can't wait for you to join us!
